The Adult Nursing specialty is one of the oldest and most esteemed nursing fields, both historically and in modern times. Specialists consider it the foundation of other nursing branches, often calling it the "origin of nursing," as all other branches have emerged from it.

Vision

The Adult Nursing Department at the College of Nursing, National University of Science and Technology, aspires to lead among the various scientific departments in the college and comparable nursing colleges in Iraqi universities. It aims to compete with all nursing higher education institutions at the national and regional levels.
