About Faculty
The College of Nursing at the National University of Science and Technology is one of the prominent academic and educational institutions since its establishment. The idea of establishing the college began in the academic year 2014-2015 in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, responding to the urgent need to prepare nursing cadres with high scientific and practical competence to keep up with rapid developments in technological and scientific fields. These efforts are part of a future vision aimed at improving quality of life, providing comprehensive and effective educational opportunities, and enhancing individuals' psychological skills and personal abilities.
The college also focuses on developing students' skills in understanding the factors influencing health-related decision-making, especially given the rapid changes in the medical field, by offering preventive and therapeutic nursing services that promote health at the individual, family, and community levels.
The college includes departments such as Basic Sciences, Nursing Fundamentals, Adult Nursing, Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Mental and Psychiatric Health Nursing, and Community Health Nursing.
